SMALL RAVE's Are Back [March 10th, 2023]

The curse is lifted, after being cancelled three times due to natural disasters and the pandemic, SMALL RAVE finally made its epic comeback to the Auckland music scene. It was hosted on the Friday 10th of March, at the legendary Whammy Backroom on Karangahape road.

The line-up was on fire, with Little Bok Choy, and Fergus Waveforms bringing the tunes. Due to technical difficulties MaasMaya didn't get a chance to play. But that didn't stop the crowd from getting down and dirty to the sick beats of the other two DJs.

The place was decked out with low lying checkered balls on chains, giving the event a fun and festive vibe. And a personal highlight of the night was a dance battle between Fergus Waveforms and a random raver. It was a tough competition, but in the end, Fergus did not came out on top. Perhaps his signature red boiler suit gave him too much confidence. 

The party started at 10pm and went on till the wee hours of the morning, finally wrapping up around 1am.

Overall, it was a night with great music, great vibes, and great community. SMALL RAVE is back in full force, and we can't wait to see where we go in the coming year ahead.
